Hi, I’m Nicole, the heart behind Seaside Imaging…..and you guessed it! My two passions in life are: the ocean, and babies!

My journey started after the birth of our sixth baby, when I realized one evening that time is just so incredibly cruel. You go to sleep one night pushing on little feet through the flesh of your belly and wake up to a full grown sister girl rolling her eyes and slamming doors. I realized in these fleeting moments that time can only be paused in a picture…and in pictures, I could still hear their little baby giggles, smell the baby breath, and feel all the little flutters. For me, a picture took me back to the very day I felt them before anyone else could and touched them before anyone else got to. Those still moments captured in a single sliver of time preserved an era of pure sweetness even though time kept speeding forward like a bandit in the night. Memories fade but, the ability to capture them so we never forget, is one of life’s most precious gifts.

For roughly 14 years I spent most of my days raising babies and capturing life through portraiture for a large client base in Savannah, GA. I loved every moment! I cuddled babies all day every day…. what’s more to love? I ran a successful studio for most of those years, but after the birth of our 10th (yep, TEN!) child, I knew that God had more planned for my future. I knew that he wanted me to take my love of childbirth (because I did love it, so. so. much!) and babies and expand it into more! I graduated from ASU with a bachelor’s in Radiologic Sciences (specializing in ultrasound), then from Valdosta State with a masters in adult education and went on to combine my passion for infant and childhood portraiture into caring for new moms and babies on the inside. In 2021, we moved from our beloved little town right outside of Savannah and found ourselves in our forever little hometown of Yulee, FL. I took a full-time position in Jacksonville FL performing high-risk OB ultrasounds on some of the tiniest and most vulnerable little ones…where I remain today.

After all that…. I still don’t feel like my story is finished, hence the creation of Seaside Imaging! At Seaside Imaging, my vision is to bring together the best of both worlds - Advanced 3D / 4D / HD ultrasound imaging and professional photography - to give families a beautiful glimpse of their baby before birth and perhaps even capturing moments after! From the tiniest little features and sweet movements on the inside, to those unforgettable first kisses on those chubby little cheeks, I’m here to help you remember…. even when time has so cruelly crept up on you. Being both an experienced OB sonographer and newborn / baby photographer allows me to tell your baby’s story from the very beginning - from womb to world. It allows me to be part of your story too….and for that, I truly treasure.

Located in Yulee, Florida, Seaside Imaging proudly serves families in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Fernandina beach, Kingsland, St. Mary’s and surrounding Northeast Florida and South Georgia.
