From the second you walk into our studio, our goal is simple: to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and excited!

Unlike a clinical setting, our studio is designed to feel cozy and inviting - more like a boutique experience than a medical appointment. As a registered diagnostic sonographer with on-going experience in high-risk OB (It’s my full time job!), I combine professional expertise with a calming and personal touch, so you feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

Your Ultrasound Session: Step-by-Step

During your 3D/4D ultrasound in Yulee, your session is all about bonding and connection. On the big screen, you’ll see your baby stretching, yawning, or even smiling - it’s truly magical. We take our time to get the best possible views, so you leave with images (and memories) that you will cherish forever. Although there are days where baby just might not be in the ideal position to get the best photos, we will do our absolute best to create a memorable and fun experience with the best pictures possible. We have a list of tips below to try at home to optimize our chances of having a wiggly and happy baby!

Bring the Whole Family

This is a moment meant to be shared! Although our starter studio is small, we welcome partners, siblings, and loved ones to join you during your session. We do ask that clients keep the number of guests down to two or three due to spacing. We have big, big plans for Seaside Imaging though and are hopeful that we will need to expand into a bigger space very soon! Feel free to take photos, videos, and Facetime during your session if you wish! Watching your loved ones connect and bond with your baby for the first time is something you’ll never forget!

When is the Best Time for a 3D/4D ultrasound?

Generally, 26-32 weeks is the best time for 3D/4D ultrasound imaging. During this time, your baby has developed more facial features and is doing all the adorable baby things like yawning, smiling, grimacing and sucking fingers and toes.

Tips for the Best Ultrasound Images

Want those perfect baby face shots? Here are a few simple tips:

Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. We usually recommend lots of clear fluids at least 24 hours before your session. Well, actually….the OB sonographer in me says “stay hydrated allllllll the time”, but especially before picture day! ;)
Eat a light meal just before your session to encourage movement. If you aren’t diabetic, sometimes even a smoothie or juice drink of some sort can help get baby dancing!
Try to relax - your comfort helps create the best experience.
You do not need a full bladder. If you need to go right before your session, please feel free to go! :)
